The MCU teased the fans as they teased about his mysterious whereabouts which has made fans wonder if they’ll get to see their favorite Avenger in the upcoming film. However, Chris Evans is very particular about the role, as he believes the title now belongs to Anthony Mackie’s Sam Wilson, and he would often expect hesitancy when asked about reprising the character. While talking to Good Morning America, he said this about the role of Steve Rogers.
“Oh man, you know, as much as I would love to. That was such a special time in my life. I’m very precious with the character, That’s the problem. I’m so protective of it.”
