The British Tyson Fury is a big favorite in the bookmakers to beat the Cameroonian Francis Ngannou in their fight on Saturday the 28th at the Boulevard Hall in Riyadh, United Arab Emirates.

In some betting houses, the WBC heavyweight world champion leads the odds by -1,400 against +750 for the former UFC heavyweight world champion, who will arrive as an underdog.

The odds for a Fury victory by knockout or TKO are at -550. The same bet for Ngannou is at +850. The triumph by decision is at +600 for the British and +5,000 for the Cameroonian. Tie pays +2,500.

The over/under for the total number of rounds to finish the fight is 4.5. The Over is valued at -130, while the Under pays +100.

In other systems, the bet on Tyson pays 1/14, while the Francis win pays 15/2. The tie pays 33/1.

The expert’s opinion
Fury’s experience gives him a massive advantage over Ngannou, who will be making his boxing debut at 37 years old after an entire career in mixed martial arts.

If the former UFC champion brings something to the table, it is his enormous power that could put the WBC champion in trouble at the beginning of the fight. However, as the combat drags on, the balance will tip to the British side.

Fury’s fist power is almost on par with his rival. However, experts are inclined to think that he will not come out to finish the fight instantly.

Just this week, Tyson hinted that the date for his fight against the Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk could be at the end of December. Looking ahead to the expected unification fight, Fury could take the fight against Ngannou as a kind of sparring session.

Fury-Usyk on the horizon
If the date for the fight between the British and the Ukrainian is confirmed, the former would have just eight weeks to prepare for the battle, also to be fought in Riyadh.

Fury will put the WBC belt on the line, while Usyk will endanger his IBF, WBA, and WBO titles.

The Ukrainian will arrive with more time to rest and prepare for the fight in the UAE. His most recent fight was his victory by knockout against Briton Daniel Dubois.
