Maika Million has released a song that is taking the world by storm, with the artist using Iron Mike Tyson as his inspiration.
The former Heavyweight champion of the World is the subject of a new song released by the American rapper, entitled ‘Mike Tyson’.
The song showcases the musician’s respect and admiration for Tyson’s skills within the boxing ring, where he was the youngest ever Heavyweight champion.
Hopes are high for the song, which intends to spark a reaction within both the boxing and music communities. Tyson left an indelible mark on the world of boxing and there is a feeling that this song will look to do something similar in musical terms.
This isn’t the first song to reference Tyson
Boxing and rap have an overlap of sorts, and it should come as no surprise that this latest release is not the first song of its genre to reference the former boxer. There has been Public Enemy’s ‘Welcome to the Terrordome’ which was used by Tyson as his walkout music.
Furthermore, Eminem made reference to Tyson biting Evander Holyfield’s ear in his song ‘Legacy’. “Lightning just struck. Maika Million drops Mike Tyson, song blaze video blazing,” Roderick Singleton wrote on social media. “Great song, a hit for sure,” was the response of another user by the name of Satish Nair.
