Los Angeles Lakers superfan Jack Nicholson sat courtside at Crypto.com Arena on Friday for Game 6 of the first round in the 2023 NBA Playoffs. It was the actor’s first time watching his team play in person since the 2021 season opener.
Nicholson, 86, received a warm welcome from the crowd, especially when LeBron James greeted him with a huge smile and hug.
Tee Morant, father of Memphis Grizzlies guard Ja Morant, didn’t waste the opportunity to snap a photo alongside the legendary actor.
The official NBA account shared the image to Twitter, with Nicholson giving a thumbs up and Morant throwing a peace sign.
Nicholson has been sitting in the same courtside seats since the Showtime Lakers and through the Kobe Bryant era, but had missed the past two seasons due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
