At this point, everybody in Hollywood considers Tom Cruise one of the main oracles inside the film industry. Steven Spielberg himself appeared praising the ‘Top Gun: Maverick’ star giving him flowers for ‘saving the movie theatre industry’. Whoever runs into him that is involved in the industry will always have the urge to show him their projects, his opinion matters to everybody at this point. Cruise has prided himself for committing to creating the most entertaining movies he can possibly make. The ‘Mission: Impossible’ franchise is a perfect testament to that mantra of his. With that in mind, new Warner head huncho David Zaslav met with Cruise back in January.

During their meeting, the CEO of Warner told Cruise how amazing ‘The Flash’ movie truly is and this caught the movie star’s attention. It didn’t take him long to request a private screening of the film in order to offer his notes to the people responsible for making it. The Hollywood Reported revealed a Warner Bros worker showed up at Top Cruise’s Beverley Hills mansion with a cope of the movie. They remained there until Cruise watched it and took it straight back to Warner. After watching the film, the report confirms that Tom was absolutely mesmerized by it.

Argentine director Andy Muschietti has already gotten praise from the likes of James Gunn, who is the new head at DC. He didn’t hesitate to say this was one of the best super hero films he’s ever watched but one can understand his bias. However, this changes completely when Tom Cruise himself calls you to congratulate you for directing this film. That’s exactly what happened to Muschietti, according to The Hollywood Reporter. In the surprise call, Tom Cruise allegedly said: “This is everything you want in a movie. It’s the king of film we need now.” Talk about high praise…
